Introduction of the presenter
Professor Chen Huichang
the famous development psychologist, the professor at the Institute of Developmental Psychology, School of Psychology, Beijing Normal University, and a doctoral tutor (retired).
He is a member of the Expert Committee of China cares for the next generation working committee, a member of the China Family Education Association, the adjunct professor at Southeast University (Nanjing), an expert in the Expert Support System of the China Youth Research Center, and the adjunct professor at Shenyang Normal University. He is the editorial board of Asian and Pacific Language and Hearing Magazine and Journal of Early Childhood in Hong Kong.
Over the years, Professor Chen Huichang has devoted himself to the development of psychology, especially the education of infants, primary and middle school students, college students' psychology and education. In addition to writing a large number of popular science articles and books, Professor Chen also give speeches to parents, teachers, and students throughout the country, which have played an important role in promoting children's education and the mental health. They have published more than 700 kinds of works, translations, and popular science works, sum of more than 10 million words. The representative works: "Education of Moral Education", "Competitive Social-Psychological-Cultural Perspective", "Children's Imagination and Fantasy", "Children's Socialization Training", representative translations include "Personality Psychology", "Social and Personality Development", Child Evaluation, Lifelong Development Psychology, etc.
Prof. Chen Huichang's work, "Qualification Test 60", which was compiled in 1981, is very popular in China's education, medicine, sports and other departments, and has become one of the widely used psychological test scales. He also compiled a variety of test tools for scientific research and educational practice, such as the Children's Social Development Scale, the Psychological Adaptability Scale for Primary and Secondary School Students, and the Psychological Adaptability Scale for College Students. The 23-year follow-up study of social behavior and family education and its research results have a wide impact in the field of psychology in China.
