Ye Rongwei, MD, professor of epidemiology and doctoral tutor, is currently working at Peking University School of Public Health. He is the director of the Monitoring and Data Management Research Department of the Peking University Institute of Reproductive Health and a member of the Academic Committee of the Human Development Economics Research Center. The main research areas: the relationship between environmental factors and adverse pregnancy outcomes and related mechanisms, birth defects monitoring and etiology research, medical big data processing and mining.
Professor Ye Rongwei has participated in the Sino-US cooperation project on preventing neural tube defects, the Sino-US joint project of preventing birth defects and disability, the national key scientific and technological research projects, the World Health Organization cooperation project and other research projects. He presided over the Sino-US cooperation projects of monitoring the birth defect research, national major science and technology special medical unstructured data management and application demonstration research, etc.
In recent years, he has published more than 60 academic papers in major international journals Epidemiology, JAMA Intern Med, International Journal of Epidemiology, Hypertension, Journal of Nutrition.
