and visiting scholar at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
The main research areas are China's foreign economic relations and the medium and long-term challenges facing China's economic and social development. He has published many articles on China's foreign economic policy, economic globalization, and the world economy, and published an academic monograph on the US financial crisis and the rise of emerging economies. He co-authored "Trap or a wall: the real challenges and strategic choices facing the Chinese economy" won the 2013 Sun Yefang Economics Award and the China Development Research Award.
