Professor of National Key Laboratory of Cognitive Neuroscience and Learning, Director of the Doctoral Supervisor, Center for Child and Adolescent Brain Research, Beijing Normal University. The deputy director of the Developmental Psychology Committee of the Chinese Psychological Association, the executive director of the Brain and Education Branch of the China Education Society, and the editorial board member of Reading and Writing. Mainly studies the cognitive and language learning of children and adolescents, the individual and environmental influencing factors of learning difficulties, and the development mechanism of children in China's ecological and cultural environment.
Mainly studies the cognitive and language learning of children and adolescents, the individual and environmental influencing factors of learning difficulties, and the development mechanism of children in China's ecological and cultural environment. Has presided over the National Natural Science Foundation, the National Philosophy and Social Science Fund, and the Science and Technology Key Project of the Ministry of Education. And has published more than 70 papers and published 4 books in academic journals at home and abroad. Was awarded the Outstanding Works Award of the State Press and Publication Administration, the Outstanding Achievement Award of Beijing Philosophy and Social Science, the Beijing Science and Technology Progress Award, and the Outstanding Achievement Award of Beijing Education Science. A follow-up study on school adaptation and brain development for school-age children is currently underway. Research fields: individual differences in learning (e.g., learning disabilities) and the underlying biological-psycho-social mechanisms
